The 2026 Ultimate Rosko's Beer!

I'll have one more! Una Más is this year's Champ!

Una Más, our Mexican style lager, has been crowned the 2026 Rosko's Bracket Bash Ultimate Champion! It went head-to-head against Devět, our Czech Pale Lager in the Final Round. 32 beer, 5 rounds, and 2+ weeks later, it all came down to a close matchup between two lighter colored, and lighter bodied lagers.

There were heartbreaks, tiebreaks, and lucky breaks. But in the end, the final two beers were very worthy opponents.

Starting the tournament as #1 seed, Una Más, our seasonal Mexican Lager, easily made it to the semi-finals with double digit leads in each matchup. In the semis, it came up against another heavy weight, Das Brauhaus, our annual Märzen. It had an early lead that was erased by a last minute push from the Märzen Family, and barely squeaked out with a 1 vote lead at the final bell.

Devět, our Czech Pale Lager, is also an annual staple. As Taylor put it, this beer turned the tide for us to start brewing more lagers, and holds a special place in our hearts. It was a #19 seed, meaning it had a hard hill to climb to make it to the Finals. This beer beat Lot Lizard, Lecker Bierchen, AND Rosko's Lager as it also cruised to the Finals with double digit leads.

To me, the decision could be boiled down to this: Do you love summery days, tajin rims, sunglasses, and great vibes while drinking an excellent beach style lager? Do you love tradition, side pulls, milk pours, and heavily researched and trialed beers brewed with passion and love? Both equal in importance. Both equal in deliciousness.

Una Más prevailed in a tight race. Thank you to all who voted and participated. It was really a lot of fun to follow along!
