Beers on Tap
Crafted with reverence for the Czech tradition of lager brewing, this light and crushable lager was made with a starting specific gravity of 9 degrees Plato, and thusly was named the Czech word for “nine”. Boasting a floral, spicy, and lemony hop character from a bountiful addition of Saaz, Devět is packed full of flavor despite its minimalist ingredients

Our 100th batch of beer tells the story of where we started, where we’ve been, and where we’re going. Our first batch of beer (The First, Brown Ale) was intended to be an amber ale and turned out quite a bit darker than expected. Meanwhile, over time we have evolved into a high end lager brewery. So when it was time to revisit an original recipe, we added a twist of present day Rosko’s and created this amber lager. Smooth, lightly malty, with an “I’ll have another”-type of finish. It’s Evolution, Baby!

Packed with flavor and malty from the jump, this is a no-holds-barred, classic English ESB. A beautifully balanced body of caramel and toasted bread is supported by ample bitterness and expressive herbal, woody and floral character from UK Fuggle hops. Pronounced stonefruit and apricot fermentative character rounds out a lovely pint from the first sip to the last.

The only semi-experimental offering on our very traditional Oktoberfest menu, this is a style that isn’t really a style. A true to style Northwest American IPA brewed with all German ingredients – German malt, Kolsch yeast and modern German hop varieties (Huell Melon, Tango, and Mandarina Bavaria) – to create something altogether unique. Honeydew, grapefruit, gooseberry and lemon flesh notes sit atop a solidly bitter but juicy body. Melding tradition with innovation – that’s what we’re all about here on Kieferstrasse.
