On Saturday, November 8th, 2025, we partnered with our farmer friends at Sunken Springs Farm to bring you Downtown Hayrides! The event was a great success, also boosted by Mama Martina's Authentic Mexican food truck & The Donut Hole food trailer being on site. The weather was absolutely perfect - it was mostly sunny & seasonably warm. The hayrides were enjoyed by children and adults alike. We offered rides every 30 minutes from 12-5PM, with each ride getting fuller and fuller throughout the day. I believe naptime brought the kids out later! lol
It was a family friendly event - in fact it may have been the most amount of children we've had here at the brewery at once. Parents appreciated our open environment, and since the weather was so nice the kids really seemed to have a great time in our grass area. Everyone was responsible and in great moods, which is easy to accomplish with a Rosko's beer in hand, too ;-).

My favorite part? Riding through downtown Williamsport on a hayride, being pulled by a big green tractor! How many people can say they've done that? It was a bizarre feeling, but also seemed very fitting. We are in "small town USA" after all, and riding a tractor through the town felt just right. I loved seeing all the people who stopped in their tracks, pointed, and pondered about what the heck was going on as we drove past.
Huge thanks to Cassie & Zach at Sunken Springs Farm. They are the people who pick up our spent grain each time we brew, and they feed it to their livestock. They also run a farm camp at their farm for kids, which is a highly successful program each summer and sells out quickly. Check them out, they are a great people and they were perfect to partner with on this event: https://www.sunkenspringsfarm.com/
Lastly, I have to give a Thank You out to the City of Williamsport for allowing us to do this event. The mayor and his team have always been supportive of our fun and wacky ideas, and I think they see the value in giving people fun things to do in the City. We truly live in a special area, I love this town!
