Rosko’s Brew House opened in August of 2022. The historic home was built in 1870 over a marshy stream called Grafius Run. The original owner of the property, William Fink, built a stone culvert to straddle the stream and develop the property. The culvert can still be seen and accessed today, and is one of the most unique and interesting architectural structures in the area. Meanwhile, when the current owners purchased the building in 2018, it was a blighted property. It took over 4 years to rehab, restore, and renovate the property into the multi-use property it is today. Much of the original charm of the building has been maintained while also developing it into a popular and intimate brewery.
About Williamsport
Williamsport is a historic river town that has leaned into its modern identity of an outdoors haven. We are within a 90-minute driving distance of several world-class state parks, and we are known for our hunt and fish areas. The downtown area is revitalized with businesses and restaurants, with a highly walkable downtown and river walk. Nearby are two main colleges, Lycoming College and Pennsylvania College of Technology (an affiliate of Penn State University). There is a budding arts culture with shows at the Community Arts Center & Community Theatre League, the Pajama Factory art studios, and the live music scene. And we can’t forget to mention that we are the home of Little League Baseball. For two weeks in August each year we welcome the world for the Little League World Series.
